WSOP 2013 – Barney Boatman

Event #49 at the World Series of Poker, the $1500 No Limit Hold’Em Event was won a few days ago by UK Pro Barney Boatman.

The seasoned professional and Hendon Mob member has an outstanding record on the UK Poker scene amassing over $2 million of winning since 1998. His biggest score to date came two nights ago winning $546,080 and his first ever WSOP bracelet, held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.

Friends of Viva Vegas are out on mass in Vegas and we have been assured the celebrations continued through to the early hours.

Other success has come too for Howard Smith, the UK Risk Management Professional come Mixed Game aficionado.  Howard entered the coveted $2,500 6 Handed Mixed Game, Event #50 at the WSOP 2013. Howard finished Day 1 as chip leader, however his luck ran out during day 2, finishing a highly respectable 39th for a $4,189 payout.

Howard is one of the most popular players in the UK. The man plays an unpredictable style and always with a smile on his face no matter what the result at showdown. We are sure more success will come his way at the WSOP 2013 and wish him the best of luck.
